The World Intelligent Driving Challenge (WIDC) is an important component of the World Intelligent Congress (WIC). Since its inaugural event in 2017, it has always received high attention and recognition from leaders of ministries and commissions, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, vehicle manufacturers, automotive networking industry chain enterprises, and research institutions. On average, more than 100 domestic and foreign racing teams participate in the event every year, and have been reported by well-known domestic and foreign media such as CCTV multiple times. Nowadays, WIDC has gradually become a world-class forward-looking intelligent technology practice verification platform and industry exchange platform, providing a platform for participating enterprises to showcase automotive intelligent technology for the industry and consumers, cultivating a group of high-quality technology talents for the intelligent connected vehicle industry, continuously leading the industry towards the latest development direction and strategic layout, and promoting the healthy development of the intelligent vehicle industry.
In order to implement the national software development strategy and promote the high-quality development of industrial apps, the "2023 China (Tianjin) Industrial APP Innovation and Application Competition" (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government will be held in Tianjin from May to September 2023.
This year's Hualu Cup competition is based on the concept of "collection, storage, governance, use, and ease of use", focusing on real application scenarios in smart city business. The aim is to combine data from real industry fields such as fire protection, municipal administration, and transportation, and set up targeted algorithm competitions and application algorithm competitions.
The 2023 RCAP Tianjin Invitational Tournament is held by the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government under the authorization of the RoboCup Asia-Pacific Confederation. This year’s tournament consists of six major events and one parallel forum. Events include competitions for RoboCupSoccer Standard Platform League, RoboCupSoccer Humanoid League, RoboCupSoccer Middle Size League, and RCAP CoSpace Leagues, RCAP Flying Robot Challenge, and RoboCup Junior China Open.
With the strong support of Tianjin Sports Bureau, Tianjin Industry and Information Technology Bureau, and the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee for the World Intelligent Conference. The "International Intelligent Sports Congress" event brand, founded by the Tianjin Intelligent Sports Association, has become an important component of the "World Intelligent Congress" event. Since entering the "Third World Intelligent Congress" in 2019 and completing the "First International Intelligent Sports Congress" event, the event has been successfully held for four consecutive times, with a total of 5 categories and 10 events completed, involving 15 provinces and cities in China. More than 80 representative teams from over 30 countries and regions across five continents, with over 100 million participants, participated in online and offline events. It has played a leading and exemplary role in the application of artificial intelligence in the field of sports.
