On the morning of May 28, the World Intelligence Expo 2026 (hereinafter referred to as "the Expo 2026"), themed "Intelligence: Extensive Development Space, Sustainable Growth Driver", kicked off with fanfare at the National Convention & Exhibition Center (Tianjin). Global industry leaders, preeminent experts and scholars converged in Tianjin to engage in in-depth dialogues and intellectual exchanges, focusing on cutting-edge trends in intelligent technology, new growth avenues for industrial development, and emerging trends in future evolution.

The Expo 2026 will feature exhibitions, competitions, matchmaking events, interactive experiences, and other activities, aiming to establish a benchmark event that leads the development of the intelligent industry. Boasting a total exhibition area of 130,000 square meters, the largest in the Expo's history, the Expo 2026 comprises one comprehensive exhibition zone and six thematic pavilions, namely AI core technology, embodied intelligence, intelligent connected vehicles, low-altitude economy and commercial space, intelligent manufacturing, and smart life. Over 740 enterprises and institutions have signed up to participate, including central state-owned enterprises (SOEs), industry leaders, and emerging tech enterprises.
Aside from a host of exchange and matchmaking sessions as well as government-enterprise and B2B talks, the competitions will deliver plenty of highlights. Besides classic events, including the RoboCup Asia-Pacific Tianjin Invitational Tournament and the International Intelligent Sports Congress, brand-new competitions such as the Smart Tech Hackathon will make their debut this year. These contests will further boost application development and drive the commercialization of technological achievements.
The Expo 2026 will run through May 31. Specifically, it will be open to trade visitors from May 28 to 29, and to the general public from May 30 to 31, making it an ideal destination for citizens, families with children, and tech enthusiasts to visit and experience.
