Since the 21st century, global scientific and technological innovation has entered an unprecedented active phase. A new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation are re-factoring global innovation and global economy. The progress of intelligent industry has injected new energy into economic and social development and profoundly changed the ways of production and life. Under this background, Tianjin has taken the lead in raising the banner of the development of intelligent science and technology industry, holding the first World Intelligence Congress in 2017，and the second in 2018.

As the first large-scale high-end exchange platform in the field of intelligent science and technology globally, the conference features high starting point, being mainstreamed, internationalization, aiming to create a world-class platform of the publication of advanced intelligent science and technology achievements, innovation cooperation, industrial gathering and investment and financing docking; to promote the exchange between China and the world in the field of intelligence; to gather the elements of the development of global intelligent science and technology industry; and to show leading-edge new global achievements in science and technology. During the two World Intelligence Congresses in 2017 and 2018, nearly 10,000 scientists, entrepreneurs, educators and financiers home and abroad gathered in Tianjin to discuss the frontier trend of smart technology and provide an outlook of the development of smart industry.

The Third World Intelligence Congress

The Third World Intelligence Congress will be held in Tianjin, China, from May 16 to 19, 2019. With the support of UNESCO and the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, the third World Intelligence Congress is co-sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Radio and Television Administration, the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Association for Science and Technology and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government . With the theme of "Intelligence New Era:Progress,planning and Opportunity", the congress will focus on the implementation of the " 1 + 10" action plan of the intelligent technology industry and display the intelligent solutions and application scenarios of Tianjin. This congress will be devoted to promoting technological exchanges and cooperation in the world's intellectual field, fostering new intellectual technology industries, promoting the development strategy of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Association, serving the economic and social development, and continuously creating the most authoritative, quality and standard global event in the field of intellectual technology.

In the top-level design of the congress, new strategic partners will be added to provide intellectual, technical and resource support for the conference, as well as the rights and interests of publicity and cooperation, giving priority to holding the same-period activities, so as to achieve a win-win situation. At the same time, media cooperation units have been added, especially attracting professional media in the field of artificial intelligence to conduct in-depth follow-up reports.
